Wise Woman Ministries exists to equip, edify, and encourage women within the body of Christ. It is our desire that every woman builds her own house upon the foundation of Jesus, exercising godly wisdom and direction.
Wise Woman Bible Study
Our current session of Wise Woman Bible Study has ended, as we break over the summer, following the school schedule. Keep an eye on announcements or here for information on our Fall 2026 study which will being in September.
Lead Like Jesus
If you are a woman who leads in any capacity (ministry, work, family, etc.), we encourage you to attend our bi-monthly meetings. "Lead Like Jesus" is a leadership development program specifically for women, and each session is a stand-alone unit, so you are welcome to join us whenever you are available. We typically meet on the 4th Monday of every other month at 6:30 PM. Our next meeting date is Tuesday, May 26, 2026. Wise Woman Christmas Tea
The ladies of Springs Lighthouse had a lovely evening at the 2025 Wise Woman Christmas Tea. Sally Stockwell brought a message titled Dashing Through the Woe and reminded us that no matter what we go through, God is always with us and He will see us through. You can listen to her message here.
Wise Woman Getaway
Prisoners of Hope
The Jews that returned to Jerusalem with Ezra to rebuild the Temple were no doubt excited at the time of their departure. After four months of travel, they arrived to find Jerusalem - and the Temple - in shambles. Despite their disappointment, and in the face of opposition, they began the work of rebuilding the Temple. The Samaritan opposition continued and increased, wearing their enthusiasm thin, until finally after several years they quit. The work on the Temple ceased for seventeen years. It was in this state that the prophet Zechariah called them "Prisoners of Hope." The challenge for each of us to consider is, are you a prisoner of your emotions or a Prisoner of Hope?
