Brian Michaels
Senior Pastor
With over 38 years of ministry experience, Lead Pastor Brian Michaels brings a wealth of knowledge to his role. His journey began while serving in the Navy as a submariner, where, as the Protestant lay leader, he discovered a calling to share God's Word and connect with others. Since then, Pastor Brian has dedicated his life to fulfilling this calling, becoming a seasoned and devoted minister and leader known for teaching the Word of God with both grace and humor.

Aaron Ward
Worship Leader / Minister
Aaron has been involved in ministry since childhood, growing up in a home that cherished worship music. After graduating high school, he attended the Calvary Chapel School of Worship and completed a two-year internship there, where he developed both his musical talents and his understanding of the Word. Following his time at the School of Worship, Aaron and his then future wife, Emily, began leading worship together at several churches, a practice they continue to this day. His calling and passion lie in guiding God’s people in corporate worship and growing alongside the church in the knowledge and understanding of Jesus and His Word. Originally from Denver, Aaron is excited to be back serving Jesus in this community. He and Emily have been married for three years and have one son, with another baby on the way.

Board of Elders

John Archibald
Elder
Raised in a precious and unique family that significantly shaped who he is today, John Archibald accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior on Easter of 1982, marking the beginning of quite a journey. Since then, he experiences God's daily work in his life, making him a better man, father, husband, and friend.

John Godwin
Elder
Growing up in Colorado Springs, John's early church experience involved being sent on a church bus to attend services at Circle Drive Baptist Church. However, he and his friends often skipped out to visit the nearby bowling alley. It wasn't until adulthood that John fully committed his life to the Lord and began his walk with Jesus.
John is actively involved with Breakwater Men's Ministry as well as the AV team at Springs Lighthouse. He's an avid Jeep fanatic and in his free time, he likes to head to the mountains with his wife to enjoy some off-roading in God's beautiful creation.
