Welcome!
WHAT ARE THE SERVICES LIKE?
All services begin with worship—a time to praise God and prepare your heart to receive His Word. Our worship style is contemporary and uplifting, with hymns also included, focusing on the greatness of God. Following worship, we open our Bibles and focus on the timeless truths of God’s Word and its relevance to our lives. Our teaching is primarily expositional, meaning we study every book of the Bible chapter by chapter and verse by verse, giving heed to the whole counsel of God.
A typical service lasts about 80 minutes.
DO YOU HAVE A CHILDREN’S MINISTRY?
Yes, our Children's Ministry is called Kids' Cove. We offer classes for nursery through 5th grade during both our Saturday and Sunday services.
We also have a youth room located near the Galley, which is open during the 9:00 AM service on Sundays.
VOLUNTEERS
Our policy for individuals volunteering in Kids' Cove requires that they have attended our services for at least six months and successfully complete a background check.
HOW SHOULD I DRESS FOR SERVICE?
Come as you are! Dress in whatever way feels comfortable to you. Casual attire is the norm here, but if you prefer to dress up, please feel free to do so.
WILL I BE SINGLED OUT DURING SERVICE?
No, we do not ask newcomers to stand up during services. Our ushers will provide Connect Cards to any visitors who would like to connect with us. Any questions you may have can be answered at our information center, The Beacon, located on the north side of the sanctuary.
WILL I BE PRESSURED INTO GIVING?
No. At Springs Lighthouse, we don't "pass a plate." Instead, we believe that God leads His children to give, so we have offering boxes located in the back of the sanctuary where you can discreetly deposit any offerings. During service, tithing is only discussed when it comes up in our study of God’s Word. If God lays it on your heart to give, that is truly between you and the Lord.
