Our Story

The church came into being as the merging of two Bible Studies that Pastor Brian taught as he flew between Las Vegas and Denver for four and a half years, while also pastoring Lighthouse Christian Fellowship in Las Vegas, NV. Soon it became clear that the Lord was opening the door for the Michaels' to return home to Colorado Springs. In September of 2012, Springs Lighthouse held its first service at a high school theater in northern Colorado Springs.  Each week, an army of volunteers helped set up and tear down church in that school for about four years.

Eventually, the Lord gave us a more permanent home in our present facility at Flintridge Plaza (in the lower courtyard), located on the southeast corner of  Flintridge and Academy,  where we have grown to three services.

Springs Lighthouse invests in our local community in many way, seeking to make a difference in our city. We are a church family that simply "does life" together.

As we continue to "do life" together, we share in many opportunities for fellowship, Bible study, community groups, outreach, and missions.  We exist for the glory of God and the good of others! We invite you to join us. as we shine a bright light into the dark world around us, warning of danger and leading to safe harbor.

As a church family, our goal is to make a difference in our community, helping people to grow in their knowledge of Scripture, and to fall more deeply in love with the God of the Bible. His Word reveals His nature and His character, and our goal is to be a beacon of hope and to impact the world around us.
